Metadata Driven Framework

As part of any data integration, migration, and ingestion project, there is a need to build data pipelines. Talend metadata driven framework (MDF) makes it easy to create a large number of data pipelines in a generic way, rather than coding each individual object.

 

You can define the data objects that are part of the pipeline using metadata, and a generic set of controller Jobs read the metadata and move the data.

 

Talend expert consultants wrote the generic Talend Jobs, using Talend best practices, including context management, restart-ability, and smart orchestration.

 

Prerequisites: Recommended training and knowledge:

  • Talend Data Integration Basics

  • Talend Data Integration Advanced

  • Familiarity with Talend Cloud

  • Knowledge of Snowflake web console navigation and SQL

  • Basic knowledge of Azure portal
